If we could say one thing about what this organization stands for it’s that violence is never the answer. Love conquers hate, and it’s what we’re all about. Below are some examples of how, together, we are showing kindness, making others feel important, and beating violence one life at a time.

BDM Scholarship

The BDM (Branden Deon Moss) Scholarship is designed to provide an educational scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a student who has overcome a history of violence, in support of the furthering their education. To apply, applicants must complete the BDM Scholarship application, complete a one-page essay, and submit one letter of reference from a staff member of Hillcrest High School (teacher, coach, counselor, mentor, etc.)

Cuts for Kids

Anderson’s League of Leaders hosts our Cuts for Kids Back to School drive in the Tuscaloosa and Chicago communities. The goal of this event is to assist with free haircuts and school supplies just in time before the brand new school year. Our volunteers do a great job interacting with the kids, serving free food and beverages, and handing out backpacks filled with school supplies. Turkey Drive

This event takes place in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With the help of local businesses in the Tuscaloosa community, Anderson’s League of Leaders puts together Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. These baskets are then put out for special delivery by Tim, family, and friends!

Annual Community Partnerships

Anderson’s League of Leaders partners with like-minded community partners each year to bring awareness to violence prevention. Namely, Anderson’s League of Leaders partners with Turning Point and the Tuscaloosa Titans.

Tim Andersons Baseball Camp

Tim Anderson’s Baseball Camp

Anderson’s League of Leaders presents Tim Anderson’s Baseball Camp, serving the Tuscaloosa community. Through this camp, young athletes have the opportunity to get physical training with the help of some of the best baseball, strength, and conditioning coaches in Tuscaloosa.

Currently, Anderson’s League of Leaders partners with Youth Guidance’s BAM and WOW mentorship programs for boys and girls of the Chicago community.
